The plot lies in the south-western administrative district No. 5 known as “TjoplyiStan“ in the city of Moscow along the Profsojusnaja Street, approx. 9 km away from the city centre. The project with its approx. 120,000 sq. m. gross floor space comprises in its layout three identical rectangular and in cross-section almost triangular buildings the layouts of which are arranged in the shape of a star. Two of the buildings are used for residential purposes, one building for office utilisation.
With its geometric character the pyramid-type building emphasises the effect of the solitaire-like structure and “landmark” at the end of the Profsojusnaja Street. In order to underline the optical unity of the solitaire construction, the three parts of the building are connected by a rhombus-shaped façade grid that represents the outer supporting structure of the building, serving simultaneously as a façade.
Three conservatories feature in the overall image of all the wings. These three green “bands” are orientated on the rhythm of the façade structure. They serve as special utilisation areas in a mixture of regular usage and as recreation areas for the residential and office occupants.
