On the northern perimeter of Munich’s city centre, a former industrial area is being newly developed with an attractive environment and infrastructure.
Thus with the new office skyscraper and campus building opposite the Olympic Park, a significant entrée has been created to a new quarter.
The four storeys that are indented on two sides distract from the massiveness of the over seventy-metre-high construction and help it to blend with the surrounding campus buildings on the site. In addition, the mirrored coatings of the façade arranged in organic patterns lend the building the necessary airiness that, when seen from a distance, makes it look almost de-materialised.
